Spending money like I have it
I finally decided to spring for a fax machine. I’d been relying on this extremely buggy fax software, which allows me to fax from my computer but I can’t really receive faxes. Well, technically I should be able to but the nightmare that is this software doesn’t make any little thing easy. So I went and ordered a nice, simple, plain paper fax machine and some inkjet refill bottles because my printer is really limping along.
I have a lot of query ideas but querying is always hard for me. I have good clips now but it’s when my insecurity rears it’s ugly head (and that, my friends, is why I began the insecure writers support group). I get stage-fright when it comes to queries. Occasionally I get on a kick and send out a bunch but I’ve got to learn to force myself to do it at least once a week.
