I’m about sick of the internet

My web site is still screwy and I’m — again — accessing it through a proxy. I know some of you can get here and some can’t and some can get to it through a feedreader but no in real life. I’ve got an email into my hosts to see if they can figure it out. I’m frustrated.

Other frustrations:
1. Meetings with people who really DO just want to sell me something but take so freakin’ long to get to it. I need to learn to cut
to the chase but some people are un-interruptable. Gah. Now I’m behind in EVERYTHING for the day.

2. Madison has forgotten how exactly to sleep through the night. She was up three or four times last night including one long stretch of fiddling and kicking and chattering. Brett and I took turns dozing in her room since she wasn’t going back and then at 3am she woke up and I had this massive, painful earache (the tooth grinding I do) but did manage to get rid of it by morning with some relaxation exercises. We are TIRED over here. Can’t wait for this developmental blip to be over.

3. Other people’s wonky computer systems that DON’T WORK at least not with Firefox on my Mac. Or Opera.

Right this instant I want to go kick something. Hard. I’m taking a break.

There are no worse words than “stopped sleeping through the night.” :) Here’s to hoping that is a very small developmental blip!

I totally feel your pain! I’ve been checking out books about sleep issues like crazy lately because Sol’s doing the same thing - plus he doesn’t want to even go to sleep in the first place. We’ve taken to letting him fall asleep with the light on AND leaving it on all night (because then sometimes he just amuses himself in his room when he wakes up rather than coming and waking us up). With a baby who’s still waking up a time or two at night to nurse, I’m starting to see how severe sleep-deprivation leads people to simply forget seriously important things. Like, that a subject and verb make up a sentence. Or that PUSH means push, not pull. Or that one should probably eat something before 4pm. Ai yi yi! :) Here’s hoping both of our 3-yr-olds cooperate with sleeping through the night again soon!

Don’t. Just, please, don’t tell me it’s going to get worse. (sleep) This is one of those times that I don’t want to know what’s coming. Jamie’s still flipping around from sleeping all night without a peep, to NEEDING me to sleep right next to him and touching all night. And getting to sleep…bad.

Well, hopefully it is short-lived. And I hope the other annoying things are resolved soon.

I can’t remember if you mentioned you had TMJ or if it was just a stress thing. I grind my teeth at night so loudly I’ve woken up hubby and then I end up with pain in my jaw joint and surrounding area because of the teeth grinding. Come to find out that my jaw is out of alignment and the ortho is recommending surgery - not to say you have the same thing but maybe make sure that it is not a jaw issue as well as stress issue. You know…like you need one more thing to worry about!LOL
