If you’re looking for webhosting

My host just sent me 5 $20 gift certificates for me to send out to people. It’s twenty bucks off hosting services, I think. This is the host I use: siteground.com.
Things I like:
–Fantastico (press a button and install a program — wordpress, joomla/mambo, etc. This is fabulous and easy and I couldn’t have set up Get Them Blogging! without it. If you have a shop or want to have a shop or want to publish a webzine or some other nifty thing, Fantastico is a *must have!*
–You can pay for their services with Paypal. Blogads pay out with Paypal and I’ve paid for all my domains and hosting with my ads.
–Good prices. I think a year of hosting is less than eighty bucks and this includes unlimited databases, domain name and email. (My last host only let me have three databases, which was a bitch.) It’s forty-odd bucks to create a domain name slot on your main host. So my sister’s site, for example, is hosted under anotherchild.com. This lets me have more web sites for less money. (Only issue with that — you don’t get emails this way but my sister didn’t need them.)
Bad things:
–The only negative I have about them is that it can be hard to dig around their site for help but once you find the help desk, they are very quick to fix things. I’ve hit them up late late late on a Sunday night and had my question answered within the hour.

i might be interested. i’m not so good with techie stuff, though. is this going to kill me to try and do myself?
so it’s like i host my own domain name through them (their servers hold my blog, right?) and not typep*d or something like that. and i can upload wordpress to make my blog function?
ok, wait. i think it’s way to confusing for me.

I’m working on a little venture of my own and have lately started wrestling with the hosting business. Easy and fast are the way to go for me, I think.

me likes fantastico too. i use addaction as my ips for ehbabes.com i love them. excellent service.good pricing and lots of stuff in cpanel.
