I told her to make a scary face and you can see how adept she is at being truly frightening.

The kids got trophies for their participation in the summer bowling league. The trophies have their names and high scoring game engraved on them and Madison was EXTREMELY PROUD about getting one. That night at bedtime she asked Daddy if she could please cuddle with it. Very cute!

Last night Jessica came by last minute so D could say good-bye to Madison. I’d forgotten to get pictures of the three of them together so I handed the camera to Nate and sent him out on assignment. The four of them (Nate, Jessica, D and Madison) went to the school park just across the way so Madison could show how speedy she is on her big girl bike and Nate got my two favorite snaps there. (I’m including a third picture so you can see how fabulous Jessica’s hair is looking these days!)
