Mix Tape

David, may this day be the start of a beautiful, beautiful year. Happy birthday!

I have a post up at The Late Greats mp3 blog of songs that got me through high school. It was a tough call; I kept wanting to include music that I’m pretty sure I was listening to after high school. The Queen is Dead, for example, I know was the main tape in my walkman when my mom shipped me out to Portland and that was the winter I turned 17, which was after I graduated. I can’t remember if I was much into The Smiths before then or not so I just left them out. Anyway, for 17 songs that made the hell that was high school just a tad easier, head on over to The Late Greats, a fab music blog that ought to be on your blogroll anyway.

And now the final three of our celebrated Strength mix tape!!

It’s late but I’m getting this in under the wire (not much commentary — I’m too tired)! Also — this design change is testing ok across four different browsers. Lemme know if it’s not working for you! (It’s also loading more quickly than it was earlier, I think.)

#1: It looks like the IE issue isn’t showing up for every IE user (it does show up when I boot up IE 5 on my Mac) and it looks like it’s an issue for every single person using this pretty template. Damn. I may not be able to fix it so then I can choose to switch out my template (true misery) or just let my readers suffer. If this site is rendering wrong for you will you please leave me a comment so I’ll know?

#2: My typing speed is up to 112.06 wpm. It was 85 wpm in high school (when I took typing). What’s yours?

#3: Mix tape below the cut!
