Like Madison not being 18-months old. But this was a timely quote, eh?
TheStar.com | living | Open adoption controversy
“Openness is controversial in a lot of different (online) groups I’ve participated in, particularly among adoptive parents,” Friedman, who started the group and the website openadoptionsupport.com, says in a telephone interview from Columbus, Ohio. “You’re emotionally raw around your own child’s position and you’re naturally defensive.”

hey! didn’t read the article yet, but it’s kinda nifty that you (or your name, at least
) travelled to my part of the country
feels kinda neat and special and even a little coincidental! (but you know us canadians. we have a HUGE inferiority complex.)
how’d — if you don’t mind me asking — how’d you end up in the star?

Great that you participated in the article…but I’m confused after reading it…first stating your daughter is 18 mos old…and then the quote from Jennifer…about her son(s)??? As far as I know, Jenn only has one daughter…
Oh, well, at least people are talking I guess!

Dave, she found me on — of all places — facebook! We talked for a long time but it didn’t all make it into the article.
