I just told Barb this but now I want to tell you all. There is no open adoption litmus test required to join openadoptionsupport.com. So if you’re like, “I’d like to join but our adoption isn’t all that open because of XYZ” then please join anyway. If your child’s other parents don’t feel about adoption the same way you do, we need you so that people understand the impact their choices have on the other side.

Also it’s apparent that the forums are going to be busy but I’m not really a forum person myself (although I’m going to try to keep at least an eye on things there) so I get that maybe you’re looking and going, “Eh. Forums.” (Also I think there are already a couple of good open adoption forums out there, aren’t there?) There are other reasons to join like adding to the links resource and adding to the articles resource. If you want people to rally about this or that you can post a “front page” content addition and it will automatically get pushed to the front page.

And of course you’re welcome to post your blog to the links resource as well.
