I got hit with an antiadoption comment to moderate this morning first thing. It made me tired. (Of course I approved it.)

So … speaking of adoption. We need some book reviews and other content up over at Open Adoption Support. If you’re a member, please feel free to share stuff! Including links! It will be very welcomed.

If you’re wondering if you have a place at Open Adoption Support because you are a member of the triad but not in an open adoption, the answer is yes, if you support the idea of openness and want to help other families become more open or maintain openness. I will leave you to decide for yourself if you feel like you fit.

I would really really really like to see some good books for first moms and adoptees up there. (I can’t speak to those myself so that’s why I’m specifically asking this community for help.)

I’ve been sending out press releases to adoption agencies and attorneys (only one wrote back and thanked me but hopefully others will share it with clients) and I’d like to get more info up there. Shannon wrote a great piece on “When A First Parent Closes an Adoption.” Come by and check it out!
