Love is Ordinary/Extraordinary
I want to dance at my child’s wedding knowing their rights will be fully respected no matter who they love.
This post is one of hundreds written for Write to Marry Day, a blog carnival to support same-sex marriage and rally opposition to California’s Proposition 8, organized by Mike Rogers of PageOneQ and Dana Rudolph of Mombian. Thanks to Susan for the heads up!

I’m woefully underinformed about what other states are voting on next week, but California, yeesh, between Presidential and 8, and a couple others, it seems like too much for one ballot.

Wow. Just wow. Who made that gorgeous short film?
PhoenixRising, me! But my software kept crashing so I didn’t get to edit it like I wanted to. (That’s Bette Midler singing Baby Mine.)
Dawn,
I’m in CA and I’ve already voted NO on Prop 8. The ads playing are reminding people that this a civil rights/discrimination issue, nothing more. Thank you for putting together this wonderful piece. I also love the picture of the Obama’s. They look so loving and happy.
Thank you.
