We are tired and well-fed
Pennie invited us to her work’s family picnic at Wolf Park and we ate and ate and ate and watched Madison jump in the jumpy house and Noah win sunglasses and then Madison won sunglasses and then the juggler pretended to squirt catsup on us and then Madison’s balloon butterfly wings popped but it was ok because the pink sunglasses were a better win.
We are TIRED. And dreaming of the goodness that was Texas Sheetcake from City Barbecue, (which happens to be better than my own homemade Texas Sheetcake but that could be because the last time I made it I forgot to put baking soda in it so it was pretty dense).
Pennie is fighting a cold but she’s up and at ‘em right now (at 9:24pm) while we healthy people are seriously dragging. Yikes.
