Madison has always been amazing

I’m in a rush — had some emergency last-minute jobs fall in my lap, one preschooler meltdown and now having to finish off work so I can head out to Com Fest with the delightful Kristen and Abby. I’m going kicking and screaming (crowds, heat, way too much patchouli) but I’m going.

But first I wanted to post this amazing picture of my amazing daughter taken about four years ago because I was telling someone about it last night. She is three and a half months old in these pictures. She was crawling beautifully by six months old (so was Noah — they both started commando crawling around four months but she started earlier) and walking at eight months. (Noah also walked at eight months but about two weeks later than she did.) My kids are SUPER STARS!

SUPER BABY!!!

SUPER BABY TAKE TWO!!!

(As always, click to make bigger.) These are lousy shots, I know but I was working in an underslept haze in those days. I pretty much spent ALL DAY lying next to that cloth circle (made by a friend) handing Madison toys and trying to keep her entertained.

She is adorable and clever and advanced in every way! My oldest walked at eight months. Youngest walked at 17 months. Either way they had me.
