Mmmm, coconut milk! That sounds really really good -- thanks for the tip! And Noah is just shy about looking battered, I think. But he feels ok. :)

Ah, yes, Vietnamese iced coffee is awesome. I make mine with coconut milk - it's a lot sweeter than soy milk and avoids the whole, um, milk ugliness (I'm allergic).

Ouch! Poor Noah. Hope he's doing better soon.

Becca, I got it out of a Thai cookbook and was surprised it tastes just like those expensive bottles of Starbucks frappucinos I've been drinking here at this place called "work." So can you freeze sweetened condensed milk? Because I don't usually use a whole can when I make it. Oh and also -- I got invited to a restaurant opening. Does one bring a hostess gift to a restaurant opening?

1. That is called Vietnamese coffee and it's AWESOME hot or iced.

2. Oh man, I hope it gets here soon (the broken heat, not the grouchy kids).

3. You are such a white mom.

Not more to say about the rest except sorry for the bad, yay for the good.
