quick add on the run
Guys, thanks to a couple people who offered some financial help to get us through the slump but:
1. I’d hit up my mom before I’d ever hit up anyone unrelated to me;
2. If things were that bad, I wouldn’t be writing about it.
Ironic, I know, coming on the heels of that denial post. Frankly I dearly love the blogs that aren’t all peaches and cream because the peaches and cream ones? You know they just don’t want to get real with you. But when it comes to money stuff, I won’t blog it if we truly need it because that’s way beyond my comfort level.
I’m all for emotional help, encouragement, etc. But when it comes to a monetary hand-out, that’s not a place that feels at all ok to me. It feels a little too much past my boundaries, which is one reason I’d keep my trap shut about it if things were really dire.

I got to that point and beyond once. It was one of the scariest moments in my life, I never thought I’d get there. And then I was so amazed by the generosity of friends I’ve never met IRL who really bailed me out. *HUGS*
