I talked to Brett and we can come up w/the money to get the AV support (if it’s not too late with the conference organizers). I REALLY appreciate the offers of support and money help but we’ll be fine.
I may hit some of you up to look at my Powerpoint once I do it (I’ve never learned Powerpoint but it can’t be that hard, right?).

Good. Glad to hear. Don’t ever hesitate to contact me if I can help with stuff like that. I do it all the time. My ehbabes group is constantly taking up collections to help with searches, flights so people can meet heir moms and babies again, food for single moms, gifts for expectant moms, etc.

PP is really easy but yes, I’d be happy to look at anything.
I had to put together a power point presentation for a job interview three months ago and had never done one before. While there are a lot of “bells and whistles” you can use, the best presentations (in a professional business-type setting, anyway) are fairly simple (without all the fancy fading and page-turning techniques).
My husband, who had done plenty of PP presentations, was able to get me set up in just a few minutes (so if you have a “real life” friend with 5-10 minutes to spare that can come over and walk you through it, you’ll catch on fine). It isn’t that hard, but not something to leave to the last minute (which I sorta did, because I didn’t have a great deal of notice on the interview). I set up what I wanted within Word (essentially several pages of bulleted points), and then cut-and-pasted them onto PowerPoint pages, adjusted formatting and font sizes, etc.
The 29th is my 50th birthday, so I will be home in Colorado, celebrating with friends and family. Good luck!
