this woman’s work

I’m on a new server but you shouldn’t be able to tell. If you have trouble, lemme know so I can bang my head against the keyboard for another couple of hours.

I’ve been having massive computer trouble lately even though my horoscope says that shouldn’t happen until the end of the month when Mercury goes retrograde or something. Here’s the list (so far): This website debacle; my wonderful back-up system failed when my external hard drive decided to stop mounting my desktop (I even sent it flowers and whispered sweet nothings in its ear but it’s impotent, alas); my very old 10GB iPod will no longer even pretend to boot up. (This is after Brett followed my birthday wishes and gave me a docking/stereo system for it because it was booting up, just not holding its charge.)

So moving wordpress over was a big old nightmare in a handbag BUT now I know how to do it so I feel puffed up with well-deserved pride. I’m not techie but I can play one on-blog and that’s something anyway. I’m sending myself a bill though because it took me pretty much all my work time yesterday. I’m still not sure how I made it all work but I hear tell that you can see it now (if you’re reading this it means either that’s true OR that at least the feed is still working).

Hugs and kisses, internets! Now I must run away and work work work to make up for all that blog fixin’ time I wasted!!
