Madison keeping secrets
“Mommy, we got you some candles but it’s a surprise. So don’t go upstairs. Don’t go into the bedroom closet. It’s a surprise.”

Hee hee! It’s well known that kids of a certain age have a hard time keeping secrets. It’s all the funnier because they *know* it’s a “secret” but haven’t figured out how to restrain themselves to conform to the actual concept.
That’s very familiar. Liam’s version of this now (at 5) is that he whispers to his Dad a secret that he’s meant to be keeping from me, but does it in a loud stage whisper - and has no idea the whole room can here him. It’s very cute.
LOL!
I love this!
(my 5yo still says things almost like this!)
Haha!!
I love it:) What a great surprise she has for you - now you better now go upstairs:)
