I'm a big note taker for this very reason. I try to hold onto the idea, but it's like water. Sometimes if I fix the visual scene to my idea, I can remember by remembering the scene. Or I try to talk about it out loud so I have another fix on remembering it. Or sometimes, I say buh-bye... it was a lovely idea, whatever it was... Yeah! I’m a big note taker for this very reason.
