I’m doing nablowrimo
Only it seems like cheating because I update almost everyday anyway (I’ve been flaking on weekends for awhile though). Also it’s National Adoption Month and seems like I should care about that only I don’t.
Things I’m thinking about writing about:
–empathy and the lack thereof;
–what networking meetings have in common with school dances;
–why I don’t hang out with my local transracial adoption support group and how I feel guilty about it but how I don’t go anyway.
But Brett is painting at my dad’s (again) today, which means that any time I grab on the computer needs to be absolutely work related so this will have to stand as my inauspicious start to NaBloWriMo. Sad.

Maybe we can start going together (to the transracial group) in the early spring. We can make ourselves an exclusive island while still joining the group.
