sounds hectic!
a friend once told me that it is worth it travelling with kids as long as you dont mind that they will enjoy chasing pigeons outside the mus/monument/etc. more than the thing itself.
as our kids get older, they are able to appreciate the destination too. but we try to make the small moments fun/interesting. highlight from this summer - reading paddington books together on the tube in london - made the ride much more bearable (no pun intended) and no 'are we there yet' - plus, we have a new book to add to our shelf at home and remind us of the trip!

Welcome back!

My kids enjoyed the (free-range, mangy) pigeons at the zoo. It never changes.

Ahhh...the simpler times when cabinets made my kids happy.

Welcome home and to the real roller coaster! Life!

Ack. You're scaring me. I leave for my own trip in a couple of weeks and it's looking pretty full, though not a single roller coaster - yay!

Madison reminds me of a young boy I knew a long time ago. He went with his family to Disneyland for a week. His highlight? Getting to jump on the hotel beds.
