Try a private tutor two evenings a week. Sounds expensive maybe but save yourself for parenting not teaching math, reading and spelling. A tutor will have just what it takes to help your child get that homework finished. A tutor will have patience. And much more. To find a tutor ask at your child's school or check out your local newspaper. Suggest that the tutor meet your child at the library or another "safe" place, not your home or the home of the tutor.
