Oh, good lord. I followed the links to her precis of the changes between the movie and the book, and was appalled. Move over on that sofa: I hate Hollywood, too. Why can’t they leave things alone…?

But it can’t be worse than Disney’s adaptation of A Ring of Endless Light, right? I mean, that’s not possible.

Heh. I saw that they were Dark is Rising icons, and immediately thought, “But! But! No, they didn’t really read the books!!” (I’m really not happy about the changes.) So I love those icons. LOVE.
