If I were awake! But I’m not. Yet. I met Allyo yesterday, which is something we tried to do in the past and never could get schedules to work out or something. Plus I feel more nervous about meeting unknown bloggers here in town than in other parts of the world because bloggers in other parts of the world will eventually go home (little to no risk) and a blogger here is potentially more devastating. I shouldn’t have been so worried. In fact, I should have tried to meet her a long long time ago since we’ve been living weirdly parallel lives.
(We only figured out one person we know in common but it’s just a matter of time before we figure out a slew of them. And I’m thinking maybe her husband and I probably know some of the same people.)
We talked a long time and I came home all hammered from heady conversation and was too jittery to get down to work. I finished exactly half of every project I meant to finish all the way. It was like a mental roadblock at precisely .5 of the way through. I kept going back upstairs and saying to Brett, “And here’s another thing we had in common!”

I’m filled with jealousy! But maybe Dawn thinks I would be a stalker type bloggy friend. But at least I live hundreds of miles away.

I also would enjoy being awake. That would be awesome.
It would also be awesome if I didn’t have to do an extra fifteen minutes of the ellipitical today because I didn’t eat three cookies yesterday and hadn’t put on twenty pounds in the past ten months.
It will be awesome when I meet you in September too, yeah!

I thought you were supposed to be concentrating your super powers on finding me friends here in rice-a-roni land (not ones that are moving to Florida in a week–that’s like dangling forbidden fruit or something). So selfish of you to cultivate your own relationships!
