Why I love SiteGround

SiteGround is my hosting company and I originally got ‘em because they take paypal so I just used my blogads money to pay for my incessant blogging. But now I love them. I love them because they’re 24 hour service is excellent. I love them for using fantastico, their unlimited SQL databases, and their unlimited email accounts. I love them because I am a needy customer and they always meet my needs. And I love them because they’re always updating my servers. They’re updating this one today and I’m hoping it gets rid of these stupid errors I’ve started to get since I upgraded to 2.0 way back when. (And my recent upgrade to 2.1.4 did not solve.) (It’s this error that I see around the wordpress boards and no one has a sure-fire fix but it may be something to do with the server so maybe this will help.)

I’m at my desk all day today — cramped, worried and typing like mad — to finish my assignment due tomorrow. I would pity myself but I’m having too much fun. (Adrenaline comes with deadlines! Yeehaw!) If I’m good and get ahead, I’m also going to try to get this one tricky part of my essay-in-progress done today.

Hah. You sold me on SiteGround ages ago, and I used my itty bitty ad to pay for a year’s worth of hosting. They’ve been pretty good.

About Me

I have two kids and a delightfully odd husband, Brett. My children are Noah (born to us in 1997) and Madison (born to her first mom, Pennie, in 2004 and brought to our family through a domestic, open adoption). They are my inspiration and also the reason I don't get more done around here.

I'm a writer and sometimes I get published, which is a nice thing. I write for joy, I write for money and when I'm very lucky, both things happen at the same time.
