I love the comparison. I saw somewhere where a woman had her daughter put on the swimsuit her mother (the grandmother) had worn and every year they would take a picture of her in it. It was amazing to see her grow into the suit.

I really can not believe Madison is three. Jeez. Time goes by quickly when you measure it by your own child’s growth, but when you measure it by other children it is positively meteoric.

Happy birthday Madison! Three is awesome (in every sense of the word).

Great photos!! For both my sons I took photos of them in their infant car seat at a few days old and on their birth day every month until they were 11 months old (12 photos). They wore the same outfit (or onesie — for the youngest) every three months — it was neat to see them growing into them and also getting bigger than the car seat. I wish I could do password protected posts in blogger or I’d post them too…

She’s so beautiful, and I, too, cannot believe so much time has passed since she joined your family :)

Madison is beautiful - and what a great journey through memory these photos are, and will continue to be. Such a good idea!
