omg dawn, you’ll have to share him with ME. I had never heard of him either. (I go to bed early) But now I’m looking at all of his little clips. Did you see the one where he eulogizes his dad? PULL OUT THE HANKIES!
moved me to tears. who watches youtube and cries?
he reminded me of my scottish grandpa
he reminded me of my alcoholic family members
he reminded me of the value of sharing your pain with others who have been there, felt it, walked the same path.
great guy
awesome.
thanks for sharing.
Dawn, he’s *my* boyfriend. And don’t you forget it.
seriously, he said what I was thinking about the whole Britney thing. It is really sad, and she is obviously someone in a lot of pain. And deserves love, care and respect, just like anyone else.
i only first learned of mr ferguson when i saw the part of the tape you linked that spoke about britney. although, i am a strong supporter of freedom of speech, and would not limit anyones comments about anything, britney (and lindsay lohan) have been working since they were children. (show business is certainly lucrative, but it is not easy work.) i think this alone is admirable. and i dont think they do bad jobs in entertaining. and the very fact that they were working as children may have resulted in their current behavior.
incidentally, i fell in love with colin ferguson, when i saw him in phone booth. oh, wait a minute. that wasnt colin ferguson, that was colin firth. oh, no. firth was the one in those movies about someones diary. oh, i got it now. colin farrell. he was the one in phone booth….i think.
What a sweetheart. Great monologue, and really brings home the point of not kicking someone when they’re down (something I need to remember as well).
Thanks for sharing this, Dawn.

PS. It’s Craig Ferguson, not Colin.

Thanks for sharing… I second what everyone said (well, minus the boyfriend part — he’s extremely cute, but not my type
Hey Craig Ferguson has been my celebrity boyfriend for 3 years. It’s one of my favorite parts of summer that I can stay up late to watch him.
This was brilliant though wasn’t it?
That was awesome. Thanks.

I like him quite a bit too.
PS - He was Drew Carey’s boss back on the Drew Carey Show.
