Hi, Dawn, long time no comment.

Are you wanting to keep the creativity to writing? Or other things as well?

Sometimes when I'm creatively stumped (which is often since I'm really not creative at all), doing something completely different, particularly a hands-on, activity helps. I like beading, for example, so I'll drag out the beads. Or needlework. Something like that.

Hi Dawn!
I am new to your blog, and I like it!
I also work from home, have been for over 5 years, and I know exactly how it is.
I do tons of writing for my business, I am a professional life and business coach, and what helps me is music. Music fires off these unstoppable bright ideas. But the trick to getting these bright ideas down is, I have to be near my computer. I have been typing so long that I am having trouble using a pen and paper! (Ha!)
Many Blessings to you and yours!

Yes, reading! Always a brilliant strategy.

Hey, I loved your intro essay at anti-racist parent, by the way, though I never managed to comment there to tell you so. Especially the idea that you've been working at being an anti-racist parent since Noah was born. Makes me smile.
