Madison undercover

(Remember in Madison-ese, “Y” stands in for “L”)

Madison wanted to call Jessica this morning and Jessica’s roommate, L, answered. I had her on speaker phone because it’s easier to help translate sometimes.

L: Hello?
Madison: Can I talk to [Jessica]?
L: Sure… (she gets Jessica)
J: Is this Madison?
M: No, this is Noah.
J. Funny, it doesn’t sound like Noah.
M: I don’t sound yike dat because I have a cold because I have a yot of snot in my nose but this is Noah. Did you know I’m going to the dentist on Monday because Dr. Jo-Jo is going to brush my teeth? And then the other Dr. Jo-Jo is gonna brush Noah’s teeth?
J: But I thought you were Noah.
(beat)
M: Ummm, yeah, but that’s gonna be because I have to go now. Bye.
