How many…?
Question: How many adults does it take to accompany a 9-year old boy and a 2-year old girl trick-or-treating?
Answer: Six. Brett, my dad, Brett’s dad, Brett’s mom, Jessica and Nate. The children were accompanied by quite a crowd — a very cheerful crowd. They came back and ate sandwiches (I’ve got this great recipe for focaccia) and the peanut butter mousse cake (turned out pretty good). Then the grandparents drifted away — my dad took Noah with him to head over to my sister’s. Nate and Jessica hung out for awhile longer. It was a nice Halloween. Hopefully it bodes well for a great holiday season this year.
