I changed out my site again. I couldn’t get the archives to render correctly with the old theme so I had to switch it all out. It was a headache but so far I like this theme all right and it’s working ok on every browser I’ve tried. I really like how it handles single posts and the way it brings archives up on the side of every page but the front page. This gives me more control with blogads and you’ll only see them on the front page here.
Madison-isms:
“any” for “no” as in “I have any socks on.”
“When I a person, I can walk at Giant Eagle.” (Here person must mean “not toddler” like first you’re a baby, then you’re a toddler and finally you’re a person and you get to walk in Giant Eagle instead of riding in the cart.)
She was looking through the photo album again today and was talking about coming home from the hospital. I’d mentioned that we brought her home in the van (we hadn’t bought our car yet) and she rarely — like maybe twice since we got the car — rides in the van because it doesn’t have the
latch system. She said, “I tell Daddy that he needs to change the van so you can get me from the hospital.” I let her know that the van was ok choice back then even if we always drive the car now.

Sorry for your crappy day earlier…
It’s really pretty. I like it a lot. But I can’t read the grey words very well against the dark green in the photo. Can you lighten the lettering a bit?
It looks good! A little different, but good.
Cheer up - in a couple of years, Madison will be standing in the grocery store, begging to be allowed to ride in the cart. Then you can tell her about when she wouldn’t ride in the cart on a bet…
