Madison is upstairs crying

She doesn’t like the babysitter anymore because the babysitter is not ME. I have two choices here:
–Listen to her cry (and not get any work done because I can’t concentrate over her tears);
–Go upstairs to comfort her (and never get any work done again because she will know that if she cries long enough I will come up and send the babysitter away).

I have enormous guilt. I would NEVER have even considered letting Noah cry for me. Never Never Never. But I also never HAD to consider it because we were just very poor and jacking up credit cards to live and I can’t really let our family go there again. And I know she’s fine and she knows I always come back and I know the babysitter is wonderful and that Noah is with her and that …

Wait.

I think she’s stopped crying.

I’ve got one more hour — maybe I can still get something done.

    Thank you!
