A hodgepodge of things

1. I keep thinking about setting up a links page and have even installed a plug-in for a links page but then give up the idea because:
–It’s hard to categorize people but categorization is what makes links lists work;
–I’m not sure if it would be useful to have a links page;
–It seems like a lot of work.
(What are your thoughts? I’d just like to give some traffic-love to other bloggers because I so appreciate being on the sidebars on other people’s blogs.)

2. I’m going to take Noah away from all this so we can work in a bookstore. Madison is staying with her pappy who has the day off.

3. I want to write about being jealous of Jessica because I know I give the impression of serene open-adoptioness and it’s more complicated than that.

4. I have the Mix Tape: Joy to do this week but haven’t rearranged my songs to my liking yet. That may have to wait.

5. It’s good to be home even if I do have a headache from too much fun Fun FUN this weekend.

  1. I have all my links (blogroll) categorized and I find that one thing that helps after you set up categories is cross-listing people, e.g. you’re both in my “Writing mamas” and “Adoptive mamas” categories; Andi’s in “Writing mamas” and “Philly mamas” and so on… But then I am a “categorizing” freak :) and I don’t mind the work at all… I love sorting things out!

    You can take a look at my blogroll and see if it helps - though it’s pretty short.

  2. I have mine divided by people who make me laugh, people who make me think, and adoption. But most people could easily go in any category. I just know that sometimes people come to my blog and may be interested in another blog for a specific reason. I personally love blogrolls. That and links are usually how I find all my blogs.

    Yep, accepting and loving your child’s other mom doesn’t mean you aren’t human.
