We are going thrifting
The last Wednesday of the month is 50% all clothes/linens at Ohio Thrift. Pure craziness ensues. We have to get there earlier to get a cart (we still may need to wait around for a cart) but I’m hoping to rake it in for either this fall’s clothes (shirts for Madison, shirts and pants for Noah) or next summer’s clothes. But mostly I’m going because a friend wants to since our needs aren’t urgent.
Anyway, if you’re in Columbus — last Wednesday of the month. Wear your comfortable shoes and get ready to haul in the goods!

I have the worst time thrifting. I went to Ohio thrift recently with big plans and left with three t-shirts for Jamie. I get overwhelmed, then I start feeling bad for the people who look like they do the bulk of their shopping there, then I start to feel clausterphobic and I leave. Crazy, but it happens every time. Good luck!
The Salvation Army stores here have color-tag sales all week (50% off anything with that color tag), then on Friday and Saturday, it’s 50% off everything with that color tag OR 5/$5 with that color tag.
I’ve built a whole maternity wardrobe (which I hope to need soon…) at $1/item. Totally cool.
Ooooh…I’m so jealous. The thrift stores in the area I lived in marked up their prices ridiculously high. A few years ago they started getting “popular” so it wasn’t just people in need or those like me that get a thrill in finding a bargain (I had to retrain myself and not brag about how little something cost!LOL) so I guess the demand/supply thing kicked in….I haven’t seen a good 50% sale in a while. I remember one that once a month would let you get anything you could take out in a shopping bag for $5.00. Boy I miss that one!LOL
