I'm such a twit

I turned in my copy this morning and mentioned the trouble I’d had getting a hold of anyone at that company and my editor said, “Oh you should have let me know. I have other contacts.”

I am virtually slapping my forehead here. “Duh, why didn’t I think of that?” My last editor was more hands off and wanted me to track down my own contacts so it honestly didn’t even cross my mind to hassle him with my phone woes. Let that be a lesson to me.
