counter easy hit

See, here’s the deal

I was installing a plug-in that would allow me to password protect individual posts. To use this plug-in I had to change my blog from static publishing to dynamic publishing (I have no idea what that means, by the way, but that didn’t stop me from changing it). When I did that my blog went kerplooey, as some as you may have seen. Now I’ve fixed that but all the archives have disappeared. See, going from static to dynamic means going from html to php. And now all of my entries have the word “static” on the end, which means the blog can’t find them. I’m not sure how to change them all to php and rebuilding doesn’t seem to help.

Even typing that it sounded like “blah blah blah blah kerplooey blahblah blah.” But I never let a little thing like ignorance stand in the way of me doing wonky things for my blog just because I want to. I’m funny that way.
