Er...wanted to make it clear that the Benadryl to help them sleep was only to minimize the itching that long, not trying to drug them into sleeping. LOL

Hope the kids are able to get through it with minimal levels of misery. All three of mine had it and oatmeal baths were their friends. Also, I don't know if you're so inclined, but I gave the two older ones (Dylan was still an infant) Benadryl before bed to help them sleep.

Good luck!

So what's the deal with the shot, anyway?
Nat is scheduled to get it next week, and I asked the doctor about it--I said, don't they still get it anyway? and she would just say when they do get it after the shot, it's a less virulent case.

How come she wants us to get it now if Noah and Madison didn't have one yet?

Tell me, Dawn, I know you know my doctor's mind!
har har.

Sorry, and much ice cream and t.v. to your kidlets.

Poor guy, as a Chicken Pop survivor I truly feel for him. I too remember Caladryl all over my body as I lay on a sheet. It didn't do much for the ones interally, yes I had em bad. There is a family picture of the three kids all with chicken pox. I know we drove my mother crazy trying to keep us from scratching. My heart goes out to all of you.

Caladryl. Buy it. Use it. Love it. I had a horrid case of the pox as a child and I still remember that muted pink bottle fondly.
