His last year as a single digit
Jan 25, 2006 Parenting
That’s what Noah told me the other day when we were talking about his birthday. He’ll be nine. He doesn’t want a party this year and hasn’t taken much interest in his birthday at all, which isn’t like him. He did finally make a schedule of what he wants to do that day (it’s below the cut) and he tossed about some present ideas but it just hasn’t been much on his mind.
I wanted to write something entirely different but Madison is done with her yogurt and demanding to be got down. This will have ot suffice for now.

Why Max & Ermas of all places? Did you know that is where A and I first met? We worked there and if you heard our stories, you would never be able to eat there again!

So what exactly is the distinction between “play” or “t.v.” and “Noah Time?” They all sound like Noah time to me!
: )
Happy Birthday to my favorite Noah!

Could I adore Noah more that he has Keeping Up Appearances as a birthday wish? He’s invited to my candlelight buffet with riparian entertainment.

Well he can still get tons of pressies can’t he. Why doesn’t he want a fuss for his birthday? Not even a trip to the movies?

I want that schedule on my next birthday.
Happy Birthday one-year-away-from-double-diget-Noah!

Oh my gosh! Right on Noah! I like his schedule. Tomorrow is my birthday and I will be rushing around doing baby things and doing the “birthday thing” when i’d rather be curled up doing “Bacchus Time”. I haven’t had a Max and Erma burger in years! Go Noah and Happy Birthday!!!!

Noah sounds delightful–and so does his schedule. I am having a difficult time imagining what a Chuck E Cheese for grown-ups might be like, though…

Happy Birthday Noah! Rock the schedule, man.

Happy Birthday Noah! And I love, love, love the list.
Best!
