Work was INSANE last night

Is there some kind of planetary shift going on? I need to check my feng shui relationship corner maybe. I’m still recovering — it may be a long time. I was cleaning up some more of it before logging on here and Madison used the time to put oatmeal all over my writing notebook (the special one that I never use for grocery lists) and then got into my chapstick and rubbed it all over her snotty little face. (She has another cold.) Thank goodness I’m meeting an old friend on Thursday — that will keep me going. She’s one of those people who make me feel calm simply by showing up.
I came home from religious school yesterday in tears because I am so frustrated by the essay. Then for kicks I created some drama for myself and then dealt with some more drama and then there was work last night…
Enough. This is just complaining.
Good things:
1. My sister is getting a lot of work now. She joined a networking group and also was in last fall’s Parade of Homes and it’s snowballing. She got her work into a great shop in the little arts district here in town and she’s having a lot of success there. She also has cards in another store, continues with her custom work and was out at someone’s house doing a mural. She’s awfully busy.
2. J called this weekend about getting together next weekend and is really excited about her upcoming classes. She’s starting school this summer and the program looks like a great fit. She’s also talking about running a marathon!!! Brett is going to run one or two half-marathons this year and we were talking about the two of them doing it together.
3. Did I mention coffee with my friend on Thursday? (She’s one of my L friends.)
