Brett sent me to bed today
I can’t kick this cold so he made me take a nap.
I’m gifting myself with a creative non-fiction writing class. I’d been wanting to take this (online) class for awhile and asked the instructor to let me know whenever a new one got scheduled. It starts tomorrow and I’m excited because I’m going to use it as a way to get going on a sample chapter for the proposal. The babysitter is coming for the first time on Wednesday and if that works out it’ll be four hours a week plus what I can swing in the evenings.

good for you, Dawn! hope you enjoy the class, let us know how it goes and whether it is worth taking– I’d love to take some more writing classes someday. I took some in college but took them for granted, you know? I’d love to tune up my skills these days.
Go, Dawn! Go!
the class sounds like a great idea.
i’ve been taking a class once a week (painting) and even if it doesnt mean i get as much done as i’d like, i am definitely growing, thinking about new ways to do things, and also becoming more inspired to make more time to do more than just what the class requires. even if i am moving forward more slowly than i could be, at least i am not stagnating, or moving backwards.
that way when time (and small kids) allows i will be able to keep running with it, instead of starting again after years of nothing.
I am happy that you had a nap and the class sounds like such a good thing!
Thank you for leaving the kind comment about the loss of my daughter’s pet bird. It really has been a help for her to read it. A bright spot for her.
