The kids are eating toast

Madison has bed head; Noah is flippantly grouchy.

I got about an hour to work last night actually at the computer but since Becca told me to freewrite for awhile, I can do a lot of the work (thinking) in my head. As long as I remember to put it down on paper later, I should be ok when I can get some time away next week. Brett will be home on Monday so I think I’ll wander off somewhere to work.

About half the presents are wrapped. About half are still in transit but schedule to arrive today (or tonight). I haven’t sorted out which will be for Christmas, which will be for Hanukkah and which will be held over for the kids’ birthdays (Noah’s in a month, Madison’s in three months). The laundry is done and the house is generally presentable for the relatives to visit but there’s nothing to eat except for bread, apples and fudge. We do have lots of fudge.

Madison’s attention to her breakfast is dimming so I’m signing off. Perhaps I’ll be more interesting in January.
