It reminds me of how much I miss Fall. It was always my favorite season. What form of self defence is Noah taking? It is one of three things we want our children to know, the others being swimming and horseback riding. Big babys with lots of angst and need. (And yeah, I'd have kept mine away from a park where tough-acting older kids hung out, too.) I remember back when the big teenagers were troubling-looking, when my 2 boys were Noah-sized. Now my guys are 19 & 22 and I look at the tough teens around here and beam at them and think, aww, bless their sweet, innocent little tattooed and pierced hearts! It's all in the perspective. I love reading your blog for the kid stuff.
