I just got a new CD of lullabies by the Innocnece Mission, called “Now the Day is Over”. The singer is Karen Peris, who has such a sweet, lovely voice.
I can already tell it’s going to be a long-term favorite- I’ve put it on at bedtime every night for about a week now, and my daughter is always asleep by the second song. To me that’s the highest possible recommendation!
"I started writing because I was compelled to. When I was thirteen or so, I spent two or three hours a day writing in that adolescent, struggling, angst-ridden way. By the time I was twenty-one I'd spent so much time doing it that I allowed a small practical idea to enter my thoughts: Well, if I'm doing this so much, maybe I can make something of it. I was learning to write, learning what it took to write."
not sure what you mean? Someone that sings them? or ones that you should be singing?

Sorry, that was supposed to be “The Innocence Mission”…one of these days I will learn to preview comments!
EmmaJane at Barely Tenured (maplestreet.blogs.com) has an imminent arrival.
Jo Leery Polyp is going into labor ANY MINUTE NOW (leerypolyp.blogs.com).
Getupgrrl could really use something to get that boy to sleep (chezmiscarriage.blogs.com).
Little Guy arrived home yesterday (tryingivf.blogspot.com).
El Pequeno is three months old, but would probably still enjoy a good lullaby! (moxie.blogs.com)
Amanda at Painted Turtle (http://www.painted-turtle.com/) had her little Julia a week ago today. I’m sure a lullaby would go over very well.
I was going to nominate GetupGrrl too, she’s going bonkers. Maybe something nice to make her mother sleep?
