This is why I married him
Brett handed me a folder tonight with every bit of info about my trip — seat reservations, yahoo map to the hotel, etc. — all tucked into plastic page protectors. He’s also the one who did all of the paper wrangling and budget planning.
When he took our taxes in last year, the CPA fell in love with him because it was the same thing. Plastic page protectors, neatly labeled files, copies of receipts in chronological order. Keeping track of our various paper trails is one of Brett’s big jobs in our marriage and I’m always grateful that he does such good work of it.
I would insert a picture of him here for this entry except that now everytime I take a picture of him he says, “You’re going to put that on your blog, aren’t you. Please tell me you aren’t. Please don’t. Just don’t. You won’t? Really? Promise? Thanks. I really appreciate that. Seriously. Thank you.”
So no picture. Too bad ‘cuz he’s cute.

I can vouch for that–he IS cute! and sounds like a nice ORGANIZED cutie too!
Lucky girl!
Please have him come to my house, I need some serious organization help.
Good luck on the trip! Can’t wait to hear all about it.
Ummm… Ok, that would be ME giving that information to my husband. Every trip. Every vacation. Every tax season. Every everything. Heck, I can’t even get him to write his work schedule on the calendar so I know what hours he’s working every day! LOL.
Can I be jealous of you? Just a touch?
I am incredibly disorganized (both internally and externally) so I covet your husband’s skills!!
MMM…I can relate to Meritt. What I really hate is that I can’t get him to write down MY work schedule in his calendar, so he knows not to schedule late meetings on days that I already have to work late. Does anybody else get that, “but I called it” feeling when this happens? I am 10.
Dawn, my mentor and the one who got me into blogging in the first place, I wanted to stop by and say “hi”! I’m back into blogging, and you are my first stop — I can’t believe how big Madison is now!!
