Sing ‘em to Sleep: Chicagomama

Now I know she’s a killer ladybug so I’m not trying to pawn some red thread song off on her — I actually chose this song after long contemplation because of connection but not that red thread connection.

This song has been used in a documentary about The AIDS Memorial Quilt and so when I hear it, I think of people coming together to create something beautiful. And so for Chicagomama’s growing family, I present this lullaby.

  1. I just wanted to say thank you for giving me such a thoughtful gift. I have never really listened to Bobby McFerrin, but that song is absolutely beautiful, and Baby #3 kicked his/her way through the entire song (in rhythm). So I think I can safely say…it is a winner. Will be picking the CD up later today, after I pick up C. from her class. Thanks again! and talk to you soon. :)

  2. Is this from the CD where he hums Bach’s Air? I’ve been trying to track it down for years!
