If I had all of the time in the world
I would start up my own mp3 blog and it would be all showtunes, all the time. But meanwhile, once a week, I hit up my faves and download kee-razy stuff and feel guilty about it because I have not yet gone to Amazon and bought up a CD based on a download. I’ve gone to the library and checked out CDs and then ripped them to iTunes, but I have a feeling that this doesn’t count. In fact, I’m pretty sure that this makes me part of the whole music industry’s problems.
My friend B. is ordering me back to blogging but I will not — I repeat, NOT — reinstall my stats recorder. In that way lies madness. B. says that I need to write things I like because I’m spending a lot of time writing things I don’t particularly like and she thinks this is bad for me. Since she not only is oodles smarter than I am but is also a writing teacher, I’m taking her advice.
I’m not going to tell anyone that I’m blogging again — I’m not sending anything out via my notify list. I don’t really have a lot of faith in my ability to find the time to blog regularly and I hesitate to make a grand announcement. Also, I’m not really sure I have anything to say. Well, strike that — I have LOTS to say but perhaps not anything anyone wants to read. So I will quietly sit here and hit “post.”

I hope you do blog again. No pressure! I do enjoy reading your entries though. I’d love to hear more about unschooling.
Here’s a big GOOD LUCK on your queries (sp.?)! I can imagine that it’s very hard to pitch sometimes. I’m pulling for you and wishing you well. : )
I won’t tell anyone! But I’d love to see you blogging again!
OH, Happy Happy!
(no pressure here - either, just to hear how you all are - how your writing life is going. Even in small/periodic increments ~ such a blessing!)
Yes! Please return. I’m so glad for B.
Thanks!
I accidentally clicked on you blog and when I saw all these posts I was like “Hey! Dawn is back! Why didn’t I get notified? What is wrong with my email account?” But now I see you are just being sneaky. Either way, it is great to hear from you again.
Oh. THAT’s why I didn’t get a notify email!
So glad that you’re blogging again! I missed you and thought I’d check your blog, just in case… not sure when you posted this, but so happy to see you back Dawn.
xxoo
I covered all the mirrors in my house when you stopped blogging. It’s nice–no, fantastic–to see you back. I really enjoy your writing. It’s as simple as that. There doesn’t need to be an exciting, life-changing event for your writing to be enjoyable, in my book. It’s simply great, any old day of the week. Welcome back.
