I think it is quite refreshing what you do. I myself hate kids. But I know there are a few adorable ones out there. Your child looks just beautiful. Very nice picture.

I wanted to give this to you. It is a song written by Kate Bush. One of my all-time favourites.

Pray God you can cope.
I stand outside this woman's work,
This woman's world.
Ooh, it's hard on the man,
Now his part is over.
Now starts the craft of the father.

I know you have a little life in you yet.
I know you have a lot of strength left.
I know you have a little life in you yet.
I know you have a lot of strength left.

I should be crying, but I just can't let it show.
I should be hoping, but I can't stop thinking

Of all the things I should've said,
That I never said.
All the things we should've done,
That we never did.
All the things I should've given,
But I didn't.

Oh, darling, make it go,
Make it go away.

Give me these moments back.
Give them back to me.
Give me that little kiss.
Give me your hand.

(I know you have a little life in you yet.
I know you have a lot of strength left.
I know you have a little life in you yet.
I know you have a lot of strength left.)

I should be crying, but I just can't let it show.
I should be hoping, but I can't stop thinking

Of all the things we should've said,
That were never said.
All the things we should've done,
That we never did.
All the things that you needed from me.
All the things that you wanted for me.
All the things that I should've given,
But I didn't.

Oh, darling, make it go away.
Just make it go away now.

Beautiful children! Such fresh faces!

As for the time thing, I completely understand. I used to not have time to even talk to my husband! However, (I know it's hokey) but I have started going to http://www.flylady.net to get in on her house blessing (or whatever they call it, still haven't mastered their "terms") activities. She says "Just 15 minutes." BOY, this has helped me. WHEW!!

Maybe you could consider also having someone to come in and help with housecleaning a few times or even just once a week. It isn't as costly as one might think and the rewards far outweigh whatever cost is associated with it because of the time saved that you can spend with your family.

God bless.
