Baby psychic

She’s not really a baby psychic — she’s an energy worker. What she does is helps parents connect to their babies in utero or in arms. She tunes into the baby’s energy and then helps the parents also tune in and listen to their baby.
She also works with women who have lost babies and the people I know who have gone to her for that have absolutely raved about it.
I know Suzanne (I can say her name ‘cuz she wouldn’t mind if I advertised her services here — contact me if you’re here in town and want to know more) socially because her son is also homeschooled. She knew we were adopting and we talked some about that because she has worked with birth mothers and adoptive families before.
When Madison arrived, I asked her if I could set something up with her because I was feeling a little lost. I was so tuned into J.’s grief and I knew it was getting in the way of things for Madison and me. By the time I made the appointment, I was feeling better and Madison and I are definitely in a groove but I still thought every little bit could help.
Now all of this is very out there for some people in my reading audience and I respect that. Suzanne’s language for what she does is not always my language but what she does fits into my (Jewish) belief system.
Suzanne helped me listen to what Madison is saying and it was really amazing. As we were talking, Madison — who was in Suzanne’s lap so I could focus — was actually reacting to what we would say. When we talked about something upsetting, Madison would start to squirm and cry and then when I got what Suzanne was saying and was able to do work with Madison myself, she totally relaxed and started to smile and coo.
Suzanne wanted me to come in yesterday because J., J’s mom and J’s little sister came over yesterday and Suzanne said that Madison would need my energetic support. That visit is a whole ‘nother entry but suffice to say that it was exhausting but good.

That sounds like amazing work… Does she know of others around the country who do the same thing, or would we have to come there?

I’d really like to know how to learn to be an energy worker and so forth, one day even communicate to my child that way (which should be the real natural way of doing it, I guess).
