With an art portfolio, they say it is best not to put more than 12 well-chosen images in, any more will overwhelm and be distracting. You'd want just enough stuff for the viewer to feel safe and comfortable with you, but not so much that they feel trapped. The pink album should be extra good--because you can say, proudly, "Noah choose the book for you," and even if she doesn't go for the pink and glitter, she will see the love you have for your child.
