I’ve found only two sites for Jews who are dealing with infertility. One is Tefilat Chana (Chana’s Prayer) and the other is A T.I.M.E.. Sometimes it can be frustrating to go to a TTC/infertility forum and be indundated with spiritual advice that doesn’t reflect your own spirituality so I wanted to give a heads up to these two resources. The truth is, however, that I don’t feel quite at home at those forums either because the women are generally much more observant than I am. Still, it’s nice to know, eh? I know there must be pagan forums, too. I ought to search those out sometime for linking purposes.

The first Roundtable

I just finished editing the first Roundtable for the new configuration of ePregnancy Magazine. The very first time I did one we did it on a listserv and that was a nightmare to edit because of the headers and the way people neglect to clean up posts. Also, everyone was extremely chatty and so there were numerous “LOL!” posts I had to delete. Then we started using the ezboards on the site and that made it a little easier although there was still a lot of nonsense editing to do because people get signature-happy.
This latest Roundtable happened on my newly installed board (and by the way, installation of phpBBs was pretty darn easy in case anyone wants a bulletin board on their domain) and it was the easiest to edit by far. The participants on this one weren’t as chatty with each other so it doesn’t sound like we’re all in the same room like some of them do, but they were pretty talkative and very articulate. Lots of smart women in this round-up; even better, lots of smart women who write well. Read the rest of this entry »
