I highly doubt it. One of his 100 things includes a reference to buying a suit in May 2002, indicating he wrote his after May 2002 - and I did mine in Jan. of 2002 after seeing it on other people’s sites. Who knows where it really started?

I agree that he’s taking credit for a phenomenon that has been around for a while.
