I was an Annie freak

I was a purist — preferring the Broadway soundtrack over the misguided movie (what, no New Deal for Christmas?!) but when the movie came out, I collected that memorabilia, too. I have a bunch of it. I had it out the other day for a visitor and decided to look up old Aileen Quinn and see what she’s doing these days. Curious? Here you go.

OMGosh! She turned out to be quite a nice-looking woman!

I was a purist, too…still much prefer the broadway version. Annie was the first stage show I ever saw, at the age of 4 in Chicago. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, and took to tap-dancing and singing in stores after that.
